UK Trainer Customer App

These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the UK Trainer Customer App and related digital services provided by UK Trainer PLT.

Operated by: UK Trainer PLT, Malaysia Document version: Draft for approval Last reviewed: 23 October 2026 Effective date: To be confirmed upon publication

These Terms & Conditions apply to the UK Trainer Customer App V1 and the related customer-facing digital services provided by UK Trainer PLT.

Document status: This document is currently a draft for management and legal review and is not yet approved for publication.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the UK Trainer Customer App (“App”) and the related digital services provided by UK Trainer PLT (“UK Trainer”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

The App allows users to explore training services, view programmes and schedules, register accounts, submit training registration requests, manage participant information and submit enquiries.

By creating an account, you are required to acknowledge the applicable Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not register an account or use functions that require acceptance.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • App means the UK Trainer Customer App.
  • User means a person accessing or using the App.
  • Customer means a registered user who submits a training registration or uses other customer services.
  • Participant means an individual identified in a training registration.
  • Training Programme means a training course, seminar, workshop or related service offered or advertised by UK Trainer.
  • Registration Request means an application submitted for a training programme or schedule through the App.
  • Account means a registered customer profile associated with the App.

3. Service Provider

The App is operated by UK Trainer PLT, Malaysia.

UK Trainer provides information and administrative facilities for training-related services, including programme discovery, registration requests and customer enquiries.

Official contact information is provided in Section 24.

4. Eligibility and Authority

Users creating an account must have the legal capacity or appropriate authority to agree to these Terms.

Where an individual acts on behalf of a company or organisation, that person must be authorised to submit information and registration requests on the organisation's behalf.

Training programmes may have their own eligibility requirements, prerequisites or age restrictions.

Where a minor is registered as a participant, the person submitting the registration must ensure that any required parent or guardian permission has been obtained.

UK Trainer may request clarification or additional information where reasonably necessary to establish eligibility.

5. Scope and Availability of Services

The App V1 provides customer-facing functions that include:

  • Viewing UK Trainer services and training categories.
  • Browsing training programmes and available schedules.
  • Creating and managing a customer account.
  • Submitting individual or batch training registration requests.
  • Providing participant information for training registrations.
  • Viewing submitted registrations.
  • Sending enquiries.
  • Viewing general promotions or featured training programmes.

The App does not currently process training payments directly.

UK Trainer may modify, suspend or discontinue an App function where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.

6. Account Registration

To create an account, users must provide the mandatory registration information requested by the App, including their full name, email address, contact number and password.

Users must provide accurate and current information.

The App may require email verification before certain account functions are available.

Users may be required to update incorrect or incomplete account information.

Creating an account does not automatically confirm eligibility or enrolment in a particular training programme.

7. Account Security and Responsibilities

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

Users must not share passwords, verification codes or account access with unauthorised individuals.

Users should notify UK Trainer promptly if they suspect unauthorised account activity.

UK Trainer may restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse or protect the App and its users.

Users are responsible for providing accurate information through their accounts, subject to applicable law.

8. Training Programmes and Schedules

The App displays information about available training programmes and schedules.

Programme descriptions may contain information about training objectives, intended participants, delivery methods, locations, dates and other relevant details.

UK Trainer endeavours to keep programme information accurate; however, schedules and programme arrangements may change due to operational circumstances.

Users should review the applicable programme information before submitting a registration request.

Training availability remains subject to UK Trainer's confirmation.

9. Participant Information and Third-Party Registrations

Customers may register other individuals to participate in training programmes.

The person submitting a registration must:

  • Have appropriate authority to submit the participants' information.
  • Ensure the information is accurate and relevant to the training request.
  • Inform participants, where appropriate, about the collection and use of their personal information.
  • Make the UK Trainer Privacy Policy available to participants.
  • Avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information in remarks or free-text fields.
  • Contact UK Trainer when participant information requires correction.

The current customer-facing App V1 does not require national identification or passport numbers during participant registration.

Participant information will be processed as explained in the Privacy Policy.

10. Training Registration Requests

A customer may submit a registration request by selecting an eligible programme and schedule and providing the required contact and participant details.

The App supports individual training registrations and batch registration requests, subject to applicable system limits.

The App may generate a registration number or acknowledgement after successful submission.

A registration number or automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of the request only. It does not guarantee acceptance, a reserved place or confirmation of attendance.

UK Trainer may review the registration and contact the customer for clarification or further arrangements.

A training place is confirmed only when UK Trainer provides an express confirmation of acceptance.

Customers should review information before submission and contact UK Trainer promptly if an error is discovered afterward.

Any binding commercial arrangement, including applicable payment obligations, remains subject to the specific terms communicated and agreed for that training.

11. Fees, Invoicing and Payments

The current App V1 does not provide an integrated payment gateway or collect payment-card information as part of training registration.

Certain training programmes or related services may involve fees.

Where fees apply, UK Trainer will communicate the relevant pricing and payment conditions through the applicable quotation, invoice, programme information or other authorised communication before the customer becomes bound by those conditions.

Relevant information should include:

  • Applicable charges and currency.
  • Taxes and additional costs, where applicable.
  • Payment methods and deadlines.
  • Invoice or billing arrangements.
  • Any payment-related conditions affecting training confirmation.

Payment arrangements outside the App are governed by the specific terms communicated and accepted for the relevant transaction, together with applicable law.

12. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Transfers

A customer who wishes to cancel, reschedule, transfer or amend a registration should contact UK Trainer using the official contact details.

The availability of cancellation, participant substitution, transfer, or rescheduling options depends on the applicable programme conditions and any agreed commercial terms.

Where programme-specific cancellation conditions apply, they must be communicated to the customer before the customer becomes bound by them.

UK Trainer may need to postpone, reschedule or cancel a programme because of trainer availability, venue arrangements, insufficient participation, safety concerns or other legitimate operational circumstances.

Where this occurs, UK Trainer will communicate the relevant arrangements and any applicable remedies to affected customers.

Nothing in these Terms limits a customer's rights or remedies under applicable Malaysian law.

13. Training Attendance and Certification

Registration or confirmation of attendance does not automatically guarantee successful completion, assessment results, certification, accreditation or professional recognition.

Where applicable, participants may be required to meet attendance, participation, assessment, conduct or other programme-specific requirements.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that participant names and other details submitted for training administration are accurate.

Certificate correction, replacement or reissue arrangements, including any applicable charges, will depend on the relevant programme and issuing body's requirements.

UK Trainer will not represent that a programme provides recognition or certification unless such recognition is applicable to that programme.

14. Enquiries and Communications

Users may submit enquiries relating to UK Trainer's services, programmes or training arrangements.

Some enquiry functions may be available without creating an account.

Users should provide accurate contact information and avoid including passwords, verification codes or unnecessary sensitive personal information in an enquiry.

UK Trainer may use the supplied contact details to respond to the enquiry or provide necessary service-related information.

Submission of an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed training registration or agreement to purchase a service.

15. Account Suspension, Closure and Deletion

UK Trainer may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary because of suspected unauthorised access, misuse, inaccurate account information or a material breach of these Terms.

Customers may request account closure through the available App function or the separate website account-deletion request process.

Where a request is made through the website, UK Trainer may require appropriate identity verification before processing it.

Under the current App V1 account-closure process:

  • The customer account is marked as closed and disabled for normal account access.
  • The associated authentication identity is retired through the authentication service.
  • Necessary account-status information may be recorded for administrative and security purposes.

Account closure does not automatically erase all historical training registrations, participant records, enquiries or account history.

Personal information is retained or removed according to applicable legal and justified operational requirements, as further explained in the Privacy Policy.

Account closure does not automatically cancel an already-confirmed training arrangement or discharge outstanding lawful obligations. Customers should contact UK Trainer regarding any affected registrations.

For information about account closure and personal-data handling, refer to:

UK Trainer Privacy Policy

16. Intellectual Property and Training Materials

The App's software, design, text, graphics, logos and other protected content are owned by UK Trainer or the relevant rights holders.

Users may access and use the App for lawful personal or authorised business purposes connected with UK Trainer's services.

Unless expressly permitted, users must not reproduce, redistribute, sell, publish, alter or commercially exploit protected App content or training materials.

Training materials supplied in connection with a programme may be subject to additional licence conditions imposed by UK Trainer, a trainer, certification body or other rights holder.

Users must not remove copyright notices or represent protected materials as their own.

17. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

  • Attempt unauthorised access to another person's account or records.
  • Submit fraudulent, misleading or unlawfully obtained information.
  • Interfere with the App's operation, security or availability.
  • Attempt to circumvent account restrictions or access controls.
  • Use the App for unlawful activities.
  • Misuse participant information or other personal information obtained in connection with training services.

UK Trainer may take reasonable and proportionate steps to address misuse, including restricting account access where justified.

18. Privacy and Personal Data Protection

UK Trainer handles personal information in accordance with its applicable Privacy Policy and relevant Malaysian data-protection requirements.

The Privacy Policy explains the information collected through the current App, the purposes of processing, service-provider disclosures, account-closure handling, retention practices and privacy-related requests.

Users submitting another person's personal information are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate authority to do so.

Please review our Privacy Policy for further information.

19. Third-Party Services and External Links

The App may provide links to external websites or services relating to training information or UK Trainer's operations.

Access to external websites may be subject to the respective provider's terms and privacy practices.

UK Trainer is not responsible for third-party content or services outside its control, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

20. Service Information and Availability

UK Trainer takes reasonable steps to maintain accurate and useful information within the App.

However, the App may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical faults, connectivity issues or circumstances beyond UK Trainer's reasonable control.

UK Trainer may correct inaccurate programme descriptions, registration information or technical errors.

Such corrections do not remove any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.

21. Liability and Statutory Rights

UK Trainer will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing its services, subject to applicable agreements and legal requirements.

Users remain responsible for the accuracy of information they submit and for their own misuse of the App.

To the extent permitted by law, UK Trainer is not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside its reasonable control or by a user's unauthorised or unlawful actions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer protections and remedies available under Malaysian law.

22. Changes to These Terms

UK Trainer may update these Terms to reflect changes to the App, its services, business practices or applicable legal requirements.

Updated Terms will identify their applicable version and effective date.

Where a change is material, UK Trainer will provide appropriate notice and obtain renewed acceptance where required.

Changes will not automatically alter the contractual terms of a previously confirmed training arrangement unless permitted by law or agreed by the relevant parties.

The applicable version of the Terms may be recorded as part of the account registration or legal-acceptance process.

23. Complaints, Disputes and Governing Law

Customers may raise complaints concerning the App, account access, training registrations or related services by contacting UK Trainer.

Complaints should include enough information for UK Trainer to identify and investigate the relevant matter, such as a registration reference and a description of the issue.

UK Trainer will review complaints and communicate an appropriate response or further steps.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from using any statutory complaint, dispute-resolution or other remedy available under applicable Malaysian law.
